Master in Science Child Health
Master in Science Child Health (Developmental option).
Application is now open for the 2015 -2016 course and is available to medical and allied medical professionals with an undergraduate degree in the medical sciences.
The course runs over two years with 4 weeks of lectures per year (usually February, April, June & August). Topics covered include Neuro-anatomy, Neurophysiology,
Research techniques, Epidemiology, Developmental Paediatrics, Behavioural Paediatrics, Paediatric neurology, Paediatric Psychology and Psychiatry. Completion of a mini thesis
is part of the requirements to qualify for the degree. The materials covered give a solid introduction to a fellowship in Developmental Paediatrics or Paediatric Neurology or
for professionals working in the field of child development. The course also gives a background to an academic career in the field.
